First Spring Portrait Plates

̈Lux intus lucet. ̈ The light shines from within. First Spring brings together the grace of Galadriel, the quiet wisdom of Clara del Valle, and the gentle compassion of Princess Maria Bolkonskaya in a single character. Though they belong to different stories, they remind us of the same truth: the most profound impact comes from awakening the light within others. LITERARY REFERENCES Galadriel — The Lord of the Rings — J. R. R. Tolkien Clara del Valle — The House of the Spirits — Isabel Allende Maria Bolkonskaya — War and Peace — Leo Tolstoy

Product Information

All of our products are handcrafted using fine Limoges porcelain clay, with both inner and outer surfaces glazed and fired at high temperatures, making them safe for food and drink. For pieces decorated with 24-carat gold glaze, it is possible to wash them in the dishwasher occasionally; however, it is recommended to hand-wash them with a non-abrasive soft sponge in order to preserve the beauty and luster of the decoration. The pieces are not microwave-safe due to the presence of precious materials. Please note that all of our featured pieces are handmade by our artisans, so each design and illustration is unique and therefore may vary. Your product is special and one-of-a-kind.
